Broken Shaker
The Broken Shaker at everyone's favorite upscale hostel, The Freehand, began as a pop-up cocktail bar before evolving into a staple. Its popularity as a mainstay served as the catalyst for the Mid-Beach neighborhood's revitalization. The outdoor courtyard and poolside area feel quite Eden-like: old-school fountain, mismatched and crazily patterned seats, lush plants. The modest award-winning bar inside is like the love child of New Orleans and Paris. The cocktail menu is frequently updated to reflect what's in season, and the majority of the ingredients are produced on the premises. Although the drinks tend to be tropical and tiki-inspired, the bartenders can accommodate any request. The Shaker's chefs are also in charge of the cuisine and drink menu at 27 Restaurant, a nearby restaurant housed in a classic 1930s Florida home.
The handcrafted cocktails at The Broken Shaker are produced using elixirs, syrups, and infusions made with garden herbs and spices, as well as fresh-pressed fruits and vegetables and unusual ingredients from all over the world. To enhance your Miami Beach vacation, their talented mixologists are creating the ideal concoction of ingredients and international flavors!
