Bromsgrove International School Thailand
Bromsgrove International School Thailand (BIST) is also one of the best boarding schools in Thailand. Students ages 2 to 18 can attend the British Curriculum Day and Boarding School at Bromsgrove International School Thailand (BIST). The UK's Bromsgrove School, founded in 1553, is associated with BIST.
Based on the National Curriculum for England, the school provides a suitable and customized curriculum that includes flexibility to adapt to changes in the global environment. In the end, students sit for the IGCSE, AS, and A-level exams offered by the University of Cambridge, which provide access to higher education across the globe.
With a degree and a teaching certification, all teachers are suitably qualified. Teachers make up 98% of the workforce; the remaining 2% are native English speakers from Australia, the United States, and Canada. To provide students with the greatest education and opportunities, Bromsgrove International School Thailand employs highly qualified specialist teachers who teach Thai, Chinese, and Korean.
Two boarding houses at Bromsgrove International School Thailand are called Tudor House and Windsor House, respectively, after well-known British Royal families. All of the common areas in both houses are open to students, who can use them to study, hang out with friends, play pool, table tennis, football, or music.
Three distinct lounges serve the needs of the following students at the school: Lower Boarders (years 4 through 8), Upper Boarders (years 9 through 11), and Sixth Form Boarders (years 12 through 13). The lounges offer a variety of board games, books, and activities in addition to a big TV with True Vision Box that students can use with their friends.
One of the main goals of Bromsgrove Boarding is to keep improving the academic offerings for boarders. All boarding students at the school have access to two streams of academic offerings: "Outstanding Academic Provision" and "Additional Programs for Further Enrichment."
Monday through Thursday of each week, an hour is dedicated to Academic Development and an additional hour to Enrichment for primary students (years 4-6). They collaborate with a member of the Boarding Team and an Academic Team member to finish their work during Academic Development.
They use the assistance and direction of the staff members nearby to practice their spelling and finish their ELOs. Primary school pupils receive assistance with reading, science, and math.
Students in the Sixth Form (Years 12 and 13) work in a specially designed common room that is open to them from 3:30 to 9:00 p.m. The Sixth Form students study and receive support in their subjects along with guidance and advice on personal statements, university applications, and advanced essay writing skills at the same time as the other boarders.
