Ruamrudee International School
Under the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, Ruamrudee International School is an international school serving students in preschool through grade 12. It is a non-profit establishment. Ruamrudee International School Ratchapruek Campus and Ruamrudee International School Early Years Campus are two additional campuses.
A college-ready American curriculum is available at RIS. The Association of Indian Universities, the Thai Ministry of Education, and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) have all granted it accreditation. Additionally, RIS is a part of the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS).
Ruamrudee International School is authorized to grant both the conventional US high school diploma and the International Baccalaureate diploma. Credits for advanced placement are also available. Being a Catholic school, Ruamrudee offers a religion class in middle and high school, as well as a monthly mass on the first Thursday of each month from 7:30 to 8:00.
A small on-campus boarding house called The Seelos Residence is manned by certified teachers who have established a welcoming, inclusive, and student-centered environment. A diverse, accepting group of students and staff, the boarding community is akin to a "family away from home" for the students enrolled.
Students living on campus receive weekly tutoring in math and science in addition to daily academic support in the study hall. Living on campus allows students to participate in the many exciting extracurricular activities that RIS has to offer in addition to giving them more time for their studies.
Boarders can use the RIS facilities, and on weekends, they can participate in a variety of planned excursions throughout Bangkok. In addition to encouraging and celebrating academic achievement, the Seelos staff also places a strong emphasis on social responsibility, teamwork, and personal growth.
