This company was founded by Scottish capitalist David Dunbar Buick in 1903. He built the first car in 1904, the Model B, which had a 2-cylinder engine with a top valve design. In 1907, Buick introduced the first 4-cylinder car and named it Model D.

Owned by General Motors, Buick is one of the country's oldest brands with a rich tradition of innovation dating back to the turn of the century. Aimed at buyers of traditional American luxury cars, Buick's vehicles prioritize luxurious luxury over sporty styling. Previously, the brand was known for satisfying the needs of retirement age customers with large sedans. The brand is also second only to the first American V6 passenger car engine.
