Brothers Horace and John Dodge, started the Dodge Brothers Automobile Company in 1914, after working as workers manufacturing bicycles and auto parts.

In 1914, the first car of Dodge Brothers Inc appeared. The model is named Old Betsy. It was a four-door convertible. The car includes a 3.5-liter engine, however, its power is only 35 horsepower. Compared to the contemporary Ford, it was truly a luxury car. The car immediately won the hearts of car enthusiasts not only because of its design but also because of its cost and quality.
