Bukkur Island
Bukkur (Sindhi: بکر) is an island located in Rohri, Sukkur District, Pakistan. Named Bukkur (Dawn) through Sayyid Muhammad Al-Makki withinside the 7th century of Hijri, this island is a limestone rock, oval in shape, 800 yards (730 m) lengthy through three hundred yards (270 m) wide, and approximately 25 feet (7.6 m) in height. According to the Superintendent of Land Records and Registration, Sindh, in 1912, the location of Bukkur island became 255,292 sq. yards, or forty nine acres (20 ha). Nowadays Bukkur island is occupied through an Army public school, and the tomb of Sayyid Sadruddin, who become the son of Sayyid Muhammad Al-Makki. Bukkur is one of the most beautiful islands in Pakistan that you should visit if you have the opportunity to come to this beautiful country.
