Manora Island
Manora Island (additionally referred to as Manoro), is a collection of related islands of the Pakistani shoreline alongside the Arabian Sea. It is a small peninsula (2.5 km²) positioned simply south of the Port of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Manora is attached to the mainland through a 12 kilometer lengthy causeway known as the Sandspit. Manora and neighboring islands shape a shielding barrier among Karachi harbor to the north and the Arabian Sea to the south. The western bay of the harbor carries endangered mangrove forests which border the Sandspit and Manora island.
