Burger King

Burger King is the world's largest fast food hamburger business, having been founded in 1954. The Burger King brand has been defined for over 50 years by its devotion to superior ingredients, signature recipes, and family-friendly dining experiences.

Insta-Burger King, created by Matthew Burns and Keith J. Kramer in Florida, USA in 1953, is Burger King's forerunner. Meatballs with exceptional flavor are produced using the Insta-Broiler griddle cooking method. The Insta-Burger King franchise was purchased by David Edgerton and James McLamore in 1954, and the company was renamed Burger King of Miami and eventually the Burger King Corporation. They still use the fire grill, but instead of an Insta-Broiler, they use a Flame-Broiler, which is a motorized gas grill.
