Cadillac - 1902

Cadillac was one of the first automobile brands in the world, ranking second in the United States behind only the GM Buick brand. Cadillac is a division of the American automobile manufacturing company General Motors (GM), which designs and builds expensive cars. Its main markets are the United States, Canada and China, in addition to being distributed in 34 other markets worldwide. Cadillac is a leader in luxury brands in the United States now.

By the time General Motors bought the company in 1909, Cadillac had established itself as one of the leading American manufacturers of luxury cars. The complete interchangeability of its precision parts allowed it to lay the groundwork for the mass production of modern automobiles. It has been at the forefront of technological advancements, introducing full electrical systems, a manual transmission and a steel roof.
