Tatra - 1850
Tatra is the first Czech car brand, founded in 1850 with the original name Ignatz Schustala & Comp. The company went through a number of name changes before becoming Tatra in 1919. The first car it produced was the President Automobile in 1897.
The typical car of Tatra is the Tatra T87 1941, a sedan with a powerful V8 engine, distinctive design style and luxurious interior, helping to satisfy all classic car enthusiasts. During World War II, Tatra produced military trucks and tank engines for the German army. After the war ended, Tatra started producing sports cars. Tatra completely closed passenger car production in 1999. Currently, the brand only produces trucks.
