Cafe Sushi
Many of the top chefs and cooks in the area come to Cafe Sushi to unwind while enjoying moderately priced plates of expertly cooked maki and nigiri. Salmon skin rolls and hamachi sashimi are both offered, as are all the standard fare. However, the signature maki is where things get interesting: the Salmon-Avo Aburi Maki's star ingredients are spicy snow crab and marinated eggplant, and the "The Phantom" Eric's Winning Maki's highlights are purple dragonfruit sushi rice and branzino. Unable to decide? The Chef's Sampler, Sashimi Dinner, and Sushi Dinner are three moderately priced trays that highlight the wide range of options available at Cafe Sushi.
Diners with common sense know to follow the chefs. Many of the top chefs in the area come to Cafe Sushi to unwind over reasonably priced plates of expertly cooked maki and nigiri. From salmon skin rolls to hamachi sashimi, all the classics are available here at costs that are extremely uncommon in urban areas. The fascinating part, though, is the distinctive makimono, which includes ceviche maki, spicy salmon citrus roll, hamachi Ssam Jang temaki, and oshiiyushi (pressed sushi), along with side orders of salmon roe and seared avocado. Then there is the kama (broiled fish collar) menu, which is uncommon in this area and a revelation to anyone who typically overlooks less well-known seafood cuts.
