The city is located at the southern end of the Calgary–Edmonton Corridor, as defined by Statistics Canada.
Calgary is one of the seven cities in Canada that stands apart. While the rest of the cities stay spotless, Calgary comfortably wins the title of the second Cleanest Cities in the World. Yes, the streets are stylish, and the air is sharp, but so is the water. Visitors are permitted to drink water from the taps without fear of being exposed to contaminated water.
Calgary's officials have devised waste management systems to keep the city clean, despite its population of nearly a million people. This system contains a complex and sophisticated sewerage system as well as efficient garbage removal and recycling, among other things.
