Honolulu
Honolulu is the capital and largest city of the Pacific Ocean-bound United States state of Hawaii yet among Cleanest Cities in the World. It is the westernmost and southernmost major U.S. city, located along the southwest coast of the island of Oahu,[a] and is the unincorporated county seat of the consolidated City and County of Honolulu.
Honolulu is Hawaii's principal international gateway. In both the state and Oceania, it is also a key center for business, banking, hospitality, and military defense. As reflected in its unique population, food, and traditions, the city is distinguished by a combination of Asian, Western, and Pacific cultures.
When you think of Honolulu, you think of gentle breezes, bright flowers, and a beautiful landscape. Another thing you'll remember about this Hawaiian metropolis is that it's as clean as any other city you've ever visited.
The volcanic rocks beneath the surface filter the water naturally. The air quality isn't as awful, but it's hampered by volcanic haze, which, if left unchecked, might have negative health consequences.
