Camp in Ang Thong National Marine Park
Ang Thong National Marine Park is located in southern Thailand with a total of 43 islands and an area of more than 100 square kilometers. White sand beaches, clear sea water, green forests and limestone cliffs make it one of the most ideal places to do Koh Samui's nature exploration activities.
The best way to appreciate Ang Thong National Marine Park's natural beauty is undoubtedly to spend a fun-filled night camping with your tents put up right on the beach and some delectable local cuisine by the campfire. You can find rentable tents for camping at the Park Headquarters on Koh Wua Talab at the price of 250 Baht or you can bring your own and stay at the campsite. During the day, you can go snorkeling and explore sea species such as sea turtles, pythons or see huge well-preserved corals. The underwater environment here can be the most interesting and diverse, apart from the stunning topside surroundings. You can also plan some kayaking to visit the national park from the water and then be picked up at the following beach.
February through September, when it's sunny and dry, is the ideal season to visit Ang Thong National Marine Park and the adjacent islands. If you want to discover the dreamlike scenery of Ang Thong National Park and have a cozy night on the island, a camping night is an absolute recommendation!
