Get around Bangkok by Tuk-tuk
Tuk tuk is not only a means of transportation but also a symbol of Thailand. In fact, the original name of this vehicle is "sam lor", which means three-wheeled vehicle according to the shape and structure with only three wheels. Then, people realized it made a "tuk tuk" sound when moving so gradually this lovely name is adopted and replaced the original one. Tuk tuk is easy to recognize on the street as it usually has colorful paintings and funny sounds. A tuk tuk consists of a cockpit attached to the engine and a small front seat for the driver. Behind that is a compartment with a capacity of 2 to 5 people depends on the type of tuk tuk. The most interesting about this type of vehicle is that it only has a roof and seats and not a door, which means that visitors will completely feel the hustle and bustle of the street here!
Riding a tuk tuk to explore the city is a fun activity for most tourists when traveling in Thailand. It is recommended that you only take it for a short ride to have a unique experience here because although it has the same price range compared to a taxi, tuk tuk is not as good as taxi in term of comfort.
