Can Gio

Can gio ranks 9th in the list of the most beautiful coastal towns in Vietnam. It is an unforgettable day trip from Ho Chi Minh City. It is only 50 kilometers (31 miles) from the main city of HCMC. Many tourists come to see Monkey Island, which is part of the Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve. There will be hundreds of monkeys. They have sticky fingers and will take anything in their path, including sunglasses, ice cream, water bottles, hats, and other items. In addition to the monkeys, there is a mangrove area and a section depicting the history of the Vietnam War and how Viet Cong soldiers survived in the area.

After your excursion, proceed south of the Mangrove area to Can Gio Beach (also known as 30/4 Beach). Because the sand is black, it has a distinct appearance when compared to other beaches in the country. The best part about visiting this beach area, however, is eating fresh seafood and shellfish. Vendors sell a variety of seafood near the beach. You can eat a variety of grilled seafood and shellfish on the beach.
