Canouan
Canouan is a small island off the coast of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribbean. On the Atlantic side, the island is protected by a barrier reef. Its interior is hilly and forested, with Mount Royal dominating the landscape and providing spectacular views from its summit. Canouan is part of the Grenadine archipelago, which consists of small islands and cays that belong to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Warm, friendly people, beautiful white-sand beaches, lush tropical landscapes, and crystal clear, turquoise waters are all part of the island. The island's beautiful sandy beaches are well-known. Grand Bay Beach, near Charlestown, the island's main town, is one of the most popular. South Glossy Bay offers calm, protected waters and stunning views of the southern Grenadines to visitors. Windward Bay is quite different, with volcanic rocks demonstrating the island's volcanic origins. Canouan Island is connected to the Grenadines by a fast ferry that takes only one hour. The Tamarind Beach Hotel and the private Grenadines Estate are both located on the island.
