Carnegie Mellon University
Andrew Carnegie founded Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh in 1900. The university was formerly known as Carnegie Technical School until 1912. The name was later changed to the Carnegie Institute of Technology until 1967 and is finally called "Carnegie Mellon University".
The main motto the university operates is "My heart is working." The institute has more than 13,650 international students, including 19 Nobel Prize winners, and more than 5,000 current and former professors and staff.
