Casablanca, Morocco
May is one of the greatest months to visit Casablanca. Summer temperatures can reach sweltering highs, making visiting crowded markets and mosques unpleasant for most visitors. The weather in May, on the other hand, is more suited to strolling in the sun and exploring this bustling city, which is also a famous cruise ship port.
Many people are familiar with Casablanca because of the iconic 1945 film of the same name. It is the country's largest city, with plenty of things to do, notably in the Old Medina, the city's historic area, and the Hassan II Mosque, the city's most famous feature. You may take day trips to Fes and Marrakesh if you wish to see numerous cities in Morocco. May is an excellent time to participate in activities such as a camel trek in the Sahara, which would be too hot to do during the summer.
