Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park is one of the most beautiful national parks in the US, and the ideal time to visit is in May. The reason for this is twofold: tourists will avoid the large summer crowds, and the climate will be great for a day of hiking - neither too hot nor too cold.
Yellowstone is a bucket-list destination for many, from deep woods and beautiful natural lakes to jaw-dropping geysers, quiet streams, and an abundance of wildlife. You may photograph bison and elk roaming the wide landscape as you explore more than 3,000 square miles. In May, the last traces of winter will fade from view, and the trails will reopen to tourists. May is a great time to come, with the exception of Memorial Day weekend, which is quite busy. You may explore the trails, observe the formations at Mammoth Hot Springs, kayak on Yellowstone Lake, and hike the many trails with natural wonders like waterfalls and clean, fresh air.
