Nashville, Tennessee
Nashville, especially for country music enthusiasts, is one of the greatest destinations to visit in May. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Music Row are currently located in the city. The Music City Walk of Fame, located on Nashville's "Music Mile", is one of the most popular music-themed walks.
The month of May has ideal weather (highs in the mid-70s and lows in the high 50s) to make walking around and shopping on Music Mile much more enjoyable. A visit to Centennial Park, which contains a full-scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, is a must-try, and a walk across the historic John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge is a treat for your camera as well. While it is likely to rain in May, you may avoid the wetness by visiting the Ryman Auditorium (formerly the Grand Ole Opry), the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and the Tennessee State Museum.
