Charlotte River
The Charlotte River is a river in Grenada. The Charlotte River flows through the village of Gouyave, in the parish of St. John. The Charlotte River is 81 meters above sea level. Charlotte River is close to Loretto Estate and close to Red River.
This Charlotte River gathers river and drainage water from the surrounding regions and has flooded houses and businesses during the rainy season, with tributaries joining near the landmark Decaul roundabout. The roadways are frequently inaccessible to both automotive and pedestrian activity.
The river has become silted and choked as a result of the constant build-up of debris over the dry season, and flooding has continued. This project intends to test the water for various bacteria that have an impact on the water, as well as create awareness about the need of protecting our rivers as our primary supply of water. The key result is that rivers and their importance will be included in the school's curriculum.
