  1. The Gouyave River is a Grenada river that flows through the parish of St Johns. A metal bridge spans the river as you approach Gouyave from the south, and the coastal road passes to the west of Windsor Park before entering the town.


    The Gouyave River flows inland through the Branch family's Dougaldston Estate. From the bridge, a narrow footpath continues inward along the south side of the river, through the Dougaldston Cemetery, to the estate itself, previously one of the island's most prestigious estates and the birthplace of former British politician Sir Geoffrey de Freitas.
