China Resources Snow Barrels
This Hong Kong-based brewer has a quarter of the Chinese beer market under its control. China Resources Enterprise and SABMiller, a British multinational, formed the company as a joint venture. It is presently owned entirely by China Resources Enterprise and produces, among other things, Snow beer, which is one of the most popular beers in the world. This is done at its breweries around the country, which are spread out among provinces, autonomous regions, and managed municipalities. The enterprise presently has an annual capacity of more than 20 million kiloliters.
Despite the fact that most China Resources Snow Barrels beer brands aren't well-known outside of China, the country's addressable market is so large that the company's flagship brand "Snow" is one of the best-selling beers in the world. China Resources Snow Barrels is a joint venture between SABMiller and China Resources Enterprise. When SABMiller was bought by Anheuser Busch InBev, however, the brewery outperformed SABMiller to the point that it was able to purchase the company's remaining shares.
