Chuck Berry
Chuck Berry, also known as the "Father of Rock 'n' Roll," is one of the few musicians who pay attention to their audience's reactions and adjusts their performance accordingly. During the recordings, he wrote and sang his own songs while playing his signature electric guitar. Because he did not rely on outside sources for songs, all of his recordings have a satisfying consistency.
You may be familiar with Chuck Berry for his on-stage performances, but hundreds of thousands of people around the world prefer him as a lyricist. His groundbreaking lyrics have been recorded by some of history's greatest bands and singers, including The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Chuck Berry is a member of the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.
