Queen
Despite the fact that Queen hasn't performed in their original lineup in decades, they are still regarded as one of the greatest bands in music history. Their songs are anthemic, euphoric, and dramatic all at the same time, which is why even Generation Z is obsessed with them.
Queen's music evolved over time, and as it did, it offered something new to everyone. Most people around the world only know Freddie Mercury as the lead vocalist, and his elaborate performing techniques captivated the audience. Roger Taylor was the drummer, Brian May was the guitarist, and John Deacon was the bassist, rounding out the classic lineup. The fact that every member of Queen wrote the songs contributes to the band's diverse sound.
The band has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as well as the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Their names are also associated with a number of other honors and awards, and they have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
