Cologne International School

Cologne International School, a state-approved IB World School, offers an exceptional bilingual, international education from kindergarten to the IB Diploma or Abitur (German high school qualification). They facilitate the development of key competencies required for successfully navigating the world of tomorrow by focusing on personalized care, support, and enrichment.

Cologne International School was founded in 2007 in a quiet area of Cologne-Widdersdorf with 40 pupils and has since grown to 550 students and 115 teachers from 45 different countries. They have the wonderful chance to relocate in 2022 to an up-and-coming business and residential district of Cologne-Butzweilerhof, and they are actively developing and constructing our new campus with future-oriented learning settings and cutting-edge facilities. The central position – only a few minutes from the A57 freeway exit and the tram stop (line 5) – makes it easy to go around. School buses, meals, holiday camps, and early/late supervision provide families with the additional comfort and attention that they would expect from a high-quality international school.
