Corpus Christi Festival

Corpus Christi Festival is a festival of purely religious origin where La Villa de Los Santos tries to incorporate its local dances and traditions. The celebration includes days in which various theatrical performances of kiales are held, where the dirty demons, meet, the clean demons in action are known as the brawlers of the sun, due to which represents the domain of the world or the traditional El Torito dance, among others. The great day, Communion, is perhaps the busiest, and during that time, the altar makes its way through the streets of town, where beautiful flowerbeds have been set up for Communion.

Corpus Christi Festival is one of the most famous festivals in Panama with different performances and stages. Along with that festival is a combination of traditional dances. The important day in the festival is the procession of the Blessed Sacrament, which is also the busiest day in the festival, the highlight for the big day is the most beautiful flower carpets arranged in the festival.
