Dainik Bhaskar
Dainik Bhaskar is a Hindi-language daily newspaper published in India. It is the country's most widely read newspaper. The largest print media firm owns Dainik Bhaskar, which has a daily circulation of 4,320,781, making it one of the world's largest newspapers and the largest newspaper by circulation in the world's second most populous country.
It began in Bhopal in 1958 and expanded in 1983 with the debut of the Indore edition of Dainik Bhaskar. The Dainik Bhaskar Group now publishes 65 editions in Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati in 12 states.
Subah Savere was founded in 1948 to meet the demand for a daily Hindi newspaper. In Bhopal, it was known as Subah Savere, while in Gwalior, it was known as Good Morning India. The publication was renamed Bhaskar Samachar in 1957.
The publication was renamed Dainik Bhaskar in 1958. In English, the word Bhaskar means "Rising Sun." It was designed to signify a bright future, along with its rising sun graphic.
