Daisy (2006)
Infernal Affairs trilogy director Andrew Lau from Hong Kong made Daisy in 2006. Young painter Hye-young (Jun Ji-hyun), Interpol detective Jeong Woo (Lee Sung-jae), and hitman Park Yi (Jung Woo-sung) appear in the urban romantic melodrama Daisy. On March 9, 2006, Daisy, a SidusHQ subsidiary and iFilm production, debuted in South Korean theaters. There are two Daisy varieties: an Asian cut and a global cut.
Hye-young (Jun Ji-hyun) is an artist who supports herself by drawing people's portraits for 30 euros each. A professional hit man named Park Yi (Jung Woo-sung) finds Hye-young painting in the high mountains and falls in love with her right away. Assassin Park Yi, artist Kim Hye Young, and international police officer Jeong Woo are involved in a love triangle at the beginning of Daisy. Although their relationship is filled with grief and loneliness, the characters' sacrifice and stillness are sufficient to radiate a beauty that causes spectators to swoon.
