Windstruck (2004)

A 2004 South Korean romantic movie called Windstruck. It was helmed by Kwak Jae-yong and features Jang Hyuk and Jun Ji-hyun. The movie, the first Korean production to do so, had its Hong Kong premiere on May 28, 2004, with Jang and Jun in attendance. It was published on June 3, 2004, and it was 123 minutes long. Having sold 2,199,359 tickets, the movie was ranked as the eighth best-selling Korean film of 2004. The movie opened on November 12, 2004, in Japan, and it made US$17,773,061. What a great amount of film producers!


In the movie, Jun Ji-hyun plays ambitious young female police officer Yeo Kyung-jin, who works for the Seoul police department. She unintentionally captures Go Myung-woo (played by Jang Hyuk), a physics teacher at an all-girls school, who was genuinely trying to catch the thief, one day as she chases a purse thief. From that point on, they start to fall in love. The combination of several genres, including romance, adventure, comedy, and fantasy, makes Windstruck stand out.
