David Guetta
Pierre David Guetta, a French DJ, record producer, musician, and composer, was born on November 7, 1967. He has sold over 50 million records worldwide and has over 10 billion streams. Guetta was elected the best DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs survey in 2011, 2020, and 2021. "When Love Takes Over" was named the best dance-pop duet of all time by Billboard in 2013.
He was born and raised in Paris, and his debut album, Just a Little More Love, was published in 2002. He went on to release Guetta Blaster (2004) and Pop Life a few years later (2007). Guetta's album One Love, released in 2009, was a commercial success. He released the album 7 in 2018, which included J Balvin, Nicki Minaj, Jason Derulo, Sia, G-Eazy, and others. His pseudonym Jack Back contributed twelve tracks to the CD. In 2019, he and fellow producer MORTEN launched a new movement dubbed "Future Rave." In July 2020, the pair released their "New Rave" EP for fans to enjoy at home when clubs were closed. In the middle of the COVID-19 epidemic, Guetta and Sia reunited to release "Let's Love" in 2020.
Guetta bought a Miami property from a New York millionaire in 2018. He spent $9.5 million for an apartment that had formerly belonged to real estate mogul Richard LeFrak. With three beachfront swimming pools, a spa, manicured grounds, and a gym, the building itself is fairly lavish. Guetta only used the 2,521-square-foot property as a holiday house, and when he wasn't using it, he tried to rent it out. Guetta's recorded music collection was sold in June 2021 for around US$100 million, according to Music Business Worldwide, with a source stating it was more than that but less than US$150 million.
