Diplo
Finally on the list of top 10 richest DJs in the world is Diplo.
Diplo is a $50 million dollar DJ, producer, and songwriter from the United States. Diplo, whose real name is Thomas Pentz, is most known for co-founding Major Lazer, a dancehall band that also features Sia and Labrinth. Diplo has worked with a variety of musicians throughout the years, including Skrillex, M.I.A., and Mark Ronson.
Mark became a highly sought-after DJ in the musical scene after obtaining recognition. Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, Madonna, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, and others have collaborated with him in the past. Diplo is an abbreviation for "Diplodocus," an homage to his boyhood fascination with dinosaurs. Pentz has his own record label, Mad Decent, and a non-profit organization, Heaps Decent, in addition to DJing.
Diplo was rumored to have paid $2.425 million for a property in Beachwood Canyon in 2016. The property, which is located in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, has a modern design with wide glass walls and spectacular views of the city, canyons, and ocean. A studio and a cedar hot tub are included in the 2,500-square-foot property. A succulent wall and a two-car garage are also included in the property. In April 2021, Diplo sold this house for $2.8 million. Diplo has been rumored to generate about $20 million per year from his multiple sources of income, notably touring.
