Diplo is a $50 million dollar DJ, producer, and songwriter from the United States. Diplo, whose real name is Thomas Pentz, is most known for co-founding Major Lazer, a dancehall band that also features Sia and Labrinth. Diplo has worked with a variety of musicians throughout the years, including Skrillex, M.I.A., and Mark Ronson.

Mark became a highly sought-after DJ in the musical scene after obtaining recognition. Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, Madonna, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, and others have collaborated with him in the past. Diplo is an abbreviation for "Diplodocus," an homage to his boyhood fascination with dinosaurs. Pentz has his own record label, Mad Decent, and a non-profit organization, Heaps Decent, in addition to DJing.
