Deuter
Deuter is a German firm that creates backpacks, sleeping bags, and accessories for a variety of uses, including school supplies, hiking, trekking, and vacation gear, as well as first aid kits and rain covers.
Hans Deuter, who established the Mechanical Canvas and Linen Mill in Augsburg-Oberhausen, formed Deuter in 1898. The Royal Bavarian Post Service and the company quickly came to an arrangement for the delivery of bags and pouches, kicking off the Deuter voyage.
Up to the creation of luggage and leather goods in 1919, the company progressively increased the production of backpacks, storage tents, and tents for cattle. Later, Deuter items were employed for the Oktoberfest tents for the first time.
The family-run business became a joint-stock company in 1957, and its name was changed to Deuter Industriewerke AG-Augsburg.
Deuter has developed into a profitable worldwide business and a market leader for travel and hiking backpacks, sleeping bags, and numerous other equipment for these activities after years of expansion.
