The plant-based JUST Egg, developed by San Francisco-based food startup Eat Just, has just been added to the menu of Chinese fast food giant Dicos, which is known for its fried chicken. The folded, pre-baked JUST Egg will replace the chain's traditional animal-based egg patty at more than 500 outlets across China, marking an industry first and an indication of the country's strong demand from mass consumers.
