Shin Kyuk-ho, a Korean businessman, launched the corporation in Tokyo, Japan, in February 1972. In September of that year, the first branches opened in Nihonbashi, Ueno, and Yokohama. The company was founded in Seoul, Korea, in 1979. The brand, which takes its name from its parent business, Lotte Corporation, now has branches throughout Japan. Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia are all countries in Asia.
