Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, better known as Doja Cat, is a singer, rapper, and songwriter from the United States. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, and as a teenager, she began composing and distributing music on SoundCloud. Her song "So High" piqued the interest of Kemosabe and RCA Records, with whom she got a joint record deal at the age of 17, releasing her debut EP Purrr! in 2014.
Doja Cat is a rising talent in modern music. She launched her debut song in 2014, however she took a break from music for a few years for personal reasons. Doja's debut album, Amala, was released in 2018, following her return. The internet was good to her, as she became viral with the Mooo! Meme and the songs began to gain popularity. But that's not all; Doja quickly worked with artists such as Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, and Megan Thee Stallion. Each of her tracks began to chart on the Billboard charts. So far, the singer has recorded two albums and a couple of multi-platinum singles.
