Domus
Domus is a design and architectural journal created in 1928 by architect Gio Ponti and Barnabite priest Giovanni Semeria. The journal is published on a monthly basis by Editoriale Domus and has its headquarters in Rozzano, Milan. Domus was founded to spread ideas about style in homemaking and furnishing and has since explored a wide range of nuances in the fields of architecture, applied arts, industrial design, art, urban planning, editorial and advertising graphics, and digital communications, always with an international perspective. The famous journal is nowadays one of the most well-known voices in the architecture sector.
Domus is published monthly and has readers in over 100 countries. It covers a wide range of issues. It began as a handbook for homemaking and domestic decorating, but it has since grown into a complex collection of critical theory, intellectual disputes, and articles spanning from interior to urban design. Some notable figures, including Michele De Lucchi and David Chipperfield, have acted as guest editors for the journal (as part of Domus' 10x10x10 series). Domus is an excellent alternative for anybody interested in design and seeking intellectual insights into the various parts of the profession.
