Dormammu
Character named Dormammu may be found in American comic books produced by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko and debuted in Strange Tales #126 from November 1964. He is the uncle of the superheroine Clea, the ruler of the Dark Dimension, and the brother of the villainous Umar. A frequent foe of the superhero Doctor Strange is Dormammu.
One of the most potent Marvel deities, Dormammu is capable of translocation across dimensions, astral projection, flight, elemental control, and even time travel. He is a genius who lives forever and is quite weak in comparison. His vulnerability is shown when he leaves the Dark Dimension, and his arrogance has frequently led to his demise.
Doctor Strange refers to Dormammu as his "most terrible foe." According to the author, he poses a threat to "the life of the universe itself" and that "at full power, no one could stand against." He has demonstrated impact that is almost global, if not multiversal.
Energy bolts and beams can be projected by the persona. He has the capacity to travel between dimensions and change his size. With the aid of his abilities, he can go back in time. A portion of Dormammu's power may be transferred to others, transforming them into formidable creatures. He has the power to bring the dead back to life. He has the ability to change and form objects by working with matter. Reality may be manipulated by Dormammu. The persona has the ability to inhabit another being's body.
Given that he is strengthened by the adoration of his worshippers, Dormammu appears to be stronger in the Dark Dimension.
