Since its establishment in 1917, Doukas School (DOUKAS) has consistently embraced the latest trends in education. Situated on a 2.5-acre campus, the school boasts outstanding educational and athletic facilities renowned for their design and construction excellence. Doukas School, a K-12 educational institution, provides a top-notch learning environment for its 1,600 students, offering one of the country's finest academic and athletic programs.
Recognized for its innovative teaching practices, Doukas School has received numerous awards. 2011 Microsoft identified it as a Pathfinder School for its groundbreaking educational methods and potential to inspire transformative changes in schools across Greece and beyond. In 2012, Microsoft chose the school as a Mentor School for the 2012-2013 academic year. Furthermore, Doukas School was a Microsoft Case Study School in 2012 for its implementation of 1:1 Computing. Since 1997, the school has been organizing the Web-based Panhellenic Student Competition LYSIAS, attracting an average of 30,000 student participants annually.

In recent years, the school has organized conferences covering topics such as Mathematics, Pre-school Education, Educational Computing & New Technologies, STE(A)M, Artificial Intelligence, and Self-Regulated Learning. Notably, it hosted the International Conference on "The School of the Future and the Future of the School" under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Education.
