Eisenhower House

The Eisenhower House in Newport is a banquet hall that was previously known as Fort Adams' Quarters Number One. It was originally built as the home of the Fort's Commandant and later served as President Eisenhower's summer retreat. The house is a historic structure that is located within Fort Adams State Park. With sweeping views of Narragansett Bay and Newport Harbor, the property makes a lovely setting for weddings and other events. Weddings with more than 300 guests can easily be accommodated on the property's large lawn, which overlooks the water.

The historic Eisenhower House, built in 1873, was once President Dwight D. Eisenhower's summer White House. This stately mansion, acquired by the state of Rhode Island in the 1960s, commands breathtaking views of Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. Today, this lovely property is used as an event venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners, and corporate functions. Eisenhower House, with its ample parking and rolling lawns, is an ideal venue for your next event.
