El Gran Roque

Gran Roque is a big Venezuelan island with a distinct Caribbean atmosphere. It has a fishing village with sandy alleys dotted with brightly painted single-story concrete cottages. Visiting yachts and fishing boats line the waterfront here. A large flock of pelicans can also be found on the waterfront, adding to the splendor of the area.

Faro Holandes is an antique lighthouse perched high on the hill. Climb to the top for breathtaking views of blue oceans, coral reefs, islands, and the hamlet. It's the ideal island for scuba diving and snorkeling excursions.
