The Evolution Tower in Moscow is a truly unique skyscraper that stands out in the skyline. This 55-story office building reaches a towering height of 837 feet (255 meters) and is located in Moscow's international business district. Its futuristic design, resembling a DNA helix, has made it a favorite among both locals and tourists. With a total area spanning 169,000 square meters, it's a magnificent architectural wonder.

This remarkable tower was a collaborative creation of the renowned British architect Tony Kettle and the Russian architect Philipp Nikandrov. Notably, in 2016, Transneft, an oil and gas company, acquired the tower for a staggering $1 billion US. Construction of this iconic building commenced in 2011, and three years later, in October 2014, it was opened to the public as part of the Moscow City Palace complex. Its architectural style is often described as "Structural expressionism" and "Post-modernism."

There's no doubt that the Evolution Tower in Moscow deserves a place on the list of the world's top 10 most breathtaking glass structures.

Fun Fact: The distinctive shape of this building draws inspiration from a blend of sources, including the image of a couple in an embrace, two ribbons gracefully intertwined, and the double helix structure of DNA. Interestingly, the tower even houses a registry office for civil marriages, connecting its design concept to the theme of matrimony.
