Fairyland
Fairyland is located just off the rugged cliff face known as West Pointe south of Anse Chastanet beach and reef. As the names indicate, this diving spot is right out of a storybook. The brightness of the coral and sponges here is what makes this region stand out the most, and it is thus a favorite site for underwater photography. The currents may be strong here, which has been ascribed to how clean the natural elements have stayed over time. The surface progressively slopes from 40 to 200 feet, and on this dive, you are very likely to see turtles, which are typically nice enough!
The seas of St Lucia provide some of the most beautiful diving locations in the Caribbean. You don't have to take our word for it; simply ask seasoned divers who have traversed the world to enjoy their pastime. Better yet, take to the water and immerse yourself in a world of vibrant hues and teeming aquatic life. Given the enormous number of popular dive locations on St Lucia, it's not surprising that there isn't a general agreement on which is the most beautiful. If you poll local dive operators, instructors, and amateur enthusiasts, Fairyland is sure to come out on top.
Fairyland is also well-known for its plentiful fish populations. When the shoreline reaches a point, currents from the north and south combine and move seaward, resulting in clear water and a concentration of nutrients to kickstart a robust food chain. As a result, the schools and individual fish are larger than in most other locations.
