Five Senses Restaurant, Bar & Catering

Since 2004, when Mitchell and Mollie Murphree founded the distinctive restaurant, Five Senses Restaurant, Bar & Catering, it has been a stalwart on the Murfreesboro dining scene. Mitchell is now the executive chef and sole owner of the restaurant, sourcing food from local farms and specialized in seasonal cooking. A lobster quesadilla with cheese, corn, green onion, red peppers, and lime crème fraiche, as well as seed-crusted grouper with local baby chard, pea salad, and fried cornbread, are among the menu's inventive appetizers and entrées. Weekly wine, raw oyster, and date-night dinner specials make it simple to spend an evening with someone you care about.
