Green Door Gourmet

Sylvia Ganier has always loved fresh ingredients, which is why she left the culinary industry to start a farming enterprise on Nashville's west side, where she could cultivate specific crops at the request of other chefs. That business flourished as quickly as the food in her rich fields, eventually becoming Green Door Gourmet. Ganier now runs a 350-acre organic farm and agritourism site where tourists may purchase farm products as well as the crafts of other local vendors. Weekly cooking demonstrations and tasting activities in the market featuring foods harvested from the nearby farms are open to the entire family.


The farm is just minutes from downtown, Green Hills, and the West End corridor, and is nestled along the Cumberland River! Fruits, flowers, vegetables, and herbs are among the many things they grow. They supply the greatest direct-from-the-field produce to their consumers, including Local Farm Box participants, local restaurants, and florists. Additionally, their on-farm market offers cooperatively sourced products from the area's greatest local producers, such as grass-fed meats, honey, preserves, dairy, baked goods, and much more!

Farm weddings, educational field excursions, farm-to-table feasts, corporate events, and social gatherings are all possible at their agritourism operation.
