You can enter the sea from the beach or at several spots along the pier. Once out from the beach, the sea depths range from 15 feet (4.57 m) to 40 feet (around 12 m). Divers who frequent the dive spot will tell you that each piling is an experience in and of itself. There is no need to trek to the end of the pier to find superb diving. Macro photography and muck diving are the most popular activities at the location.
Plan two dives here, one of which will be a twilight dive. This is an excellent night dive. Please keep in mind that when a cruise liner docks, the pier is restricted to diving.
