Gatorade
Gatorade is a sports-themed beverage and snack company based in the United States. Its main range of sports beverages is Gatorade. PepsiCo now manufactures Gatorade, which is sold in over 80 countries. A group of researchers led by Dr. Robert Cade created the beverage for the first time in 1965. It was created for the University of Florida Gators to replace the carbohydrates that its student-athletes burned as well as the water and electrolytes that they lost via sweat during strenuous sports activities. Gatorade was first manufactured and sold by Stokely-Van Camp before being purchased by the Quaker Oats Company in 1983, which was then purchased by PepsiCo in 2000. Gatorade is PepsiCo's fourth-largest brand in terms of global annual retail sales as of 2010. It competes globally with Coca-Powerade Cola's and Vitaminwater brands, as well as in the United Kingdom with Lucozade. Gatorade dominates the sports drink market in the United States, accounting for over 75% of total sales.
Gatorade Zero is sugar-free, yet it still provides the same hydration and energizing advantages as Gatorade Thirst Quencher. Sweating causes you to lose more than just water. Fluid and electrolyte losses can have a negative impact on performance. Gatorade Zero contains important electrolytes to replace those lost via sweat. Your energy requirements throughout training are distinct. Gatorade Zero allows you to restore what you've lost without adding extra calories.
