Gay Times
Gay Times, one of the first gay publications, has been a resource for the LGBTQ community since 1974. Whether it's lifestyle, music, drag, or fashion, they cover a wide range of themes and raise awareness about legislative changes and the continuing worldwide liberation struggle. According to Gay Times, their objective is to showcase the genuinely diverse makeup of the LGBT community. Initially a homosexual and bisexual men's magazine, the firm currently incorporates LGBTQ+ material across a variety of channels, including a monthly digital magazine, a website updated daily with news and cultural content, and a number of social-media platforms.
Interviews, fashion, news, features, music, movies, style, and travel are all featured in Gay Times Magazine, which is published digitally each month in the United Kingdom and distributed abroad. Under the brand name, Gay Times has an internet presence as well as social promotion outlets. Gay Times Limited publishes the magazine. Tag Warner, the current CEO of Gay Times Ltd., was hired in January 2019. The magazine stopped printing in September 2021 and currently publishes a monthly digital issue through the Gay Times app, Apple News+, Readly, and other major digital publishing providers. Lewis Corner is the current editorial director of Gay Times.
Amplifund is a charitable project launched by Gay Times in collaboration with GiveOut. It was founded in June 2019 with the goal of raising funds for worldwide LGBTQ+ communities in nations where LGBTQ+ persons experience everyday problems. It has provided assistance to LGBTQ+ persons in Jamaica, Iraq, and Armenia, among other places.
