Gelee Beach
With fishing boats bobbing in the horizon and the delicious scent of coconuts in the air, Gelee Beach is Haiti's longest and most romantic length of beach. A number of great seafood restaurants are close, and during the Fete Notre Dame festival in August, the area is crowded with energetic dancers and musicians. There are wide pasturelands a few meters beyond Gelee Beach, so don't be shocked if you spot a roaming cow or two.
